Millions of houses fitted with UPVC doors are under threat from burglars because of a design weakness in the Euro Profile cylinder mostly used on PVC-u doors. Burglars have been using a simple tool to snap and remove the Euro Cylinder enabling them to retract the locking points on the door. It does not matter how many locking points you have on your PVC-u door, if they are able to snap your Euro cylinder they are able to pull the handle and walk straight in.

Your House Insurance Could Be Void!

If you do not have BS3621 Insurance Approved locks fitted to your premises your house insurance could be void as most Insurance companies specify BS3621 installed locks.

Look for the British Standards kitemark stamp this will be located on the faceplate of your mortice door lock as below.
